Well, well, well, you never know who will show up in Brentwood Village. Could be Reese Whitherspoon, Harrison Ford, Dennis Hopper, Gene Simmons, Leeann Rimes OR could be our new President Obama. Facts About New Parking Meters

So you have all noticed the new meters?
A few facts; #1 the city has not increased parking meters since the late 1980's; #2 ALL of our L.A city councilmen voted yes to the rate increase; #3 DAILY means DAILY; #4 they take credit cards, cash and are easy to use IF YOU READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! ; #5 you can have them send you a text when you are about to expire and add more money from your cel phone;
#6 the city uses the revenue from these meters to fund city costs and if meters and/or other parking where to become privately owned you would probably be paying A LOT more.

For a complete article on these meters check out http://www.dailynews.com/news/ci_11542101 or visit the mayor's website for traffic and parking info at http://www.lacity.org/mayor/trafficrelief/index.htm
